What I Wore Wednesday: Lovin’ Fall

Today I’m linking up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

I’ve figured out in life that when you have little kids at home that a schedule is subject to change at any minute. Last week was the perfect example of this in our house. I had my week planned out. Working on new items for my shop (which is scheduled to open this Friday!), make a trip to IKEA to finish the play room plans and head to Purdue for a football game. Well, that was all put on hold when the boys started running fevers on Tuesday. By Friday, we had the diagnosis of walking pneumonia. By Friday night, I was headed to the urgent care to find out I had an upper respiratory infection. After a few days of medicine, life returned to normal (well, I’m not sure if you can call how our house operates as normal). But normal for us.

Last night, a much needed moms’ night out was on the calendar. There is a restaurant on the river (literally on the river). I’ve been wanting to check it out, so we all met there for dinner and drinks. It was the perfect weather and as usual conversation filled with laughter.  The trees on the riverbank are changing colors and it looks gorgeous!

Say hello to our puppy, Duffy! She’s a bearded collie and will give you a hug if you meet her.
