I LOVE the holidays! For me, Thanksgiving is a time to get together with family and eat a bit too much food. This year, we are doing something a little different. For years, we traveled from Chicago to Indianapolis on Wednesday night to spend Thanksgiving with family. Often, we would leave the city in a snow storm and say little prayers we would arrive safely. Then, we were finally in the same city and no more traveling. Until, we again moved. After much talk about our holiday plans, we decided to spend Thanksgiving Day at home. We are still going to see family, but not travel until Saturday morning.
Decorate your table…I love these ideas for a meaningful & thoughtful table. The focus is to give thanks!

And we can’t forget about the food, the oh so yummy food!
I’m not a big turkey lover. I mean, I enjoy the smell of turkey and the look of turkey, but not so much the taste. Here is a chicken alternative!
