This week marked back to school for our house.  The boys have a late birthday, so they will be doing another year of four year old preschool before taking the big jump to kindergarten.  Their preschool had an open house and since I was still on my Martha Stewart high from their birthday, I volunteered to make another 40 cupcakes.

The cupcake toppers are from The TomKat Shop (and if you hurry they are still on sale!).  You just print them out and cut out with a 2″ circle cutter.  I used hot glue to attach them to the back.  It is quick and easy…I promise…we can all be Martha with a little help!

The boys were so excited to share cupcakes with their new classmates. Since they are doing this year over many of their friends from last year have moved on to kindergarten.

One of my personal goals for this year is to allow time to embrace the little celebrations with the boys.  And if this means eating a lot of cupcakes, then count me in!
