Yesterday I shared some pics of my studio space in a state of disaster.  And today, you get to see the finished result.

I love open shelving in my work area.  It fills the space with color and is easy to get to all my supplies.  Shown above is the IKEA BESTA shelf unit…it is the besta (get it!).  The shelves also nicely hold bolts of fabric if you removed the individual shelving.  Great addition for any sewing room!

A cork board is a great inspiration board or place to keep notes.

This peg board hangs above my cutting counter for easy access to my scissors and rotary cutters.  It also keeps them out of reach of the kiddos…safety first!

I LOVE this machine!  It is a semi-industrial machine that does 1,600 stitches per minute.

My DIY wire spool coffee table is often filled with fabric and packages ready to be shipped out.

A fabric basket is great storage for odds & ends.  Love it!

One of my sewing room favorites is a silicon bobbin holder.

Hope you enjoyed my studio tour!

Ha! Love the before and after. Mine is more the “before” than the “after”. What paint color did you use for your space? It’s a very nice neutral. Love all of your chevrons!
